Inside the HS-800 is the SE-800 four input DV (DV MODEL ONLY) or analog video/audio switcher. Also included is an 8 channel wired intercom and monitors that display each input source, a preview (the next video coming up), and the program (the output). The built-in DN-500 hard drive recorder may be used for playback and, or recording. The HS-800 is a one box solution that goes anywhere, becomes live in seconds, and can webcast using the optional
NVS-10.
The “flip up” monitor design, the “mobile studio” is compact and fits in the trunk of a car. Outputs include: S-Video, composite, component (YUV), DV, (DV MODEL ONLY); and SDI output (DV MODEL ONLY). The HS-800 also has a CG overlay channel so you may use a CG (CG-100) as a DSK but keep access to the multiple outputs of the SE-800 switcher. As with all Datavideo products HS-800 works on 12vDC or local power.

Power Distribution Center
• Integrated Datavideo PD-1 power distribution center provides a simple and secure solution for connecting power in the studio or in the field from a 12V source, such as a generator.
